Italy 2017: Day 7

Day 7 on this trip and things are rolling right along. We woke up on the boat and caught a cab to the train station here in Ancona. Now we're waiting to head off to Rome. We should be there by lunch and we'll find a cafe with Wi-Fi when we get there. (I will be posting yesterday's post and finding us a room)

Mom and I are kicked up in a set of seats and she's reading while I blog, go figure. With the Eurail pass, reservations aren't required for this train. I tell you, this Eurail thing can get complicated, but I think we've figured it out fairly well. I'll check back in when we hit Rome.  

We've hit Rome, we've wandered to our hotel. We got a little turned around, my fault, but we made it. Catching up on Wi-Fi access then venturing out for food. I don't think we've eaten today... Oh well.  

Back at the hotel now and time from our travels. We wandered down through the Piazza Venezia towards the colosseum. We stopped for food and then went to the colosseum. We're going to do the ruins tomorrow. We're going to wash our clothes in mom's laundry bag and see how this goes. If my sucks are crunchy... I'll certainly report on this adventure when it's complete. 

We're turning in for the evening, but I'll add pictures to yesterday and today as soon as I stop being a lazy blogger.
