Italy 2017: Day 3

Today was another adventure. We left our hotel in Paris, caught a cab to Gare de Lyon train station and booked a reservation on a train to Geneva and then into Interlaken. The route here was GORGEOUS! We stopped in Bern to see the Einstein House and eat and hopped right back on a train.

This train took us through the mountains and ended up in Interlaken. This is a beautiful place, but expensive. We wandered for a long time looking for a hotel, but to not much avail. My mom ended up finding us a place for entirely too much, but it's beautiful.

The bathroom has a clear glass door, which is weird. But, I guess since were related, we'll get over it. The balcony is gorgeous and the breeze is lovely. We wandered out to eat where the fondue place was ridiculously overpriced. We had pizza and wine.

After dinner, we wanted to walk some off, so we headed out and hit the casino. We grabbed a drink and lost some money and had an all-around good time. 

It's really looking like I'll do the photo thing whenever I get the chance (which might be when I get home).  So, sorry... 

All in all, a good time here. We'll be heading out at first light. We're trying to figure out how we're going to navigate the world to get to the Sea Organ in Zadar, Croatia. It's tricky, but it's gonna happen.
