Ireland 2016: T-minus 3 weeks and counting

Ireland 2016: T-minus 3 weeks and counting

So, tonight I filmed my T minus 3 weeks episode for my YouTube channel in the hopes that other travelers could use the information.  Organizing what I need to do along a timeline is always helpful to me to not forget anything important.

So, three weeks out, I've put my hands on my passport and made sure I'm all good there.  I've ordered my currency and it came in yesterday.  Since we're going to Ireland and Northern Ireland, I needed Euro and Pounds.  I have some of each.  I also made sure that my automatic bill-pay stuff was set up during the time I'm away and I will be turning on international calling.

I'm definitely excited and I know that my mom and sister are too.  Since we're going so close to Mother's Day, we are planning on having a Mother's Day celebratory drink at the Charlotte Airport in preparation for the 8-hour hop to the other side of the pond.  I'm looking forward to seeing how my family will react to being in another country and excited that their first trip to Europe is with me!  I've been a couple of times now and I know that they have been nervous about it for too damn long.  Traveling over there is no different than traveling here, it's just in a different language sometimes.

Stay tuned for more updates as the big day nears and thanks for reading.  Check out my T-minus 3 weeks episode if you have a couple of minutes and let me know what you think.

Thanks, y'all!
